Merry Christmas, my birthday is coming up, a great baptism and it's my last email...

December 24, 2018

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Feliz Navidad a todos! Haha (Merry Christmas, Everyone!) Yeah, I am trunky too, mom, Haha. I can´t wait to see you all! I will be able to Skype on Christmas day at like 2 o clock  Argentina time, so be ready anytime after that.

So yeah,  (E.s mother) was baptized, but Fernanda had her baby, so unfortunately she needs to wait a little longer to get baptized, but we did have the one baptism! It was great! We are teaching still, but I think most of our investigators will be baptized after I leave.

That is cool that dad and Monte got new suits for Christmas. Yeah, luckily here, Christmas hasn´t lost its focus on Christ. There is not as much materialism here. I noticed that the word Christmas can be changed to Mas Christ or in English More Christ! That is how it should be anyway!

I got a Gucci jersey from my Secret Santa at the Multizona Christmas party. Now I can look like a rich tipaso (cool guy) when I go to the car shows when I get home. Haha, I am wearing it right now! Yeah, I kind of messed up in my yo-yo performance at the party, but everyone loved it anyway. The song that my district sang for it was literally just us singing a hymn that we didn't even practice, Haha. So far, for Christmas Eve p-day today we have just been watching movies and chilling. We are going to eat Asado today and watch the fireworks tonight! It should be fun. I am just being able to chill now and relax, I was pretty stressed with all the baptism stuff.

So, I leave Clorinda on Sunday to travel to Resitencia. Hermana Coleman is going home with me, so we will be traveling together back to Utah. Also, Elder Afane and Pedernera will be traveling home when I do too. That is awesome that Kaylee (My cousin) got home from her mission this week! I would love to hang out with her. I also know that this gospel is true and I will hold on to it my entire life!  Im glad I had this time to share it.

So when we Skype tomorrow remind me to tell you about the missionary Christmas party in Formosa and about the baptism and more about my trip to The Primavera. What ended up happening is that I had to go do a baptismal interview in an Indian colony and the Elders in that area ride bikes, so I went with Elder Pratt and we went and worked in that area and it was so much fun. I loved it! It is so beautiful there. I was in the middle of nowhere, riding a bike, passing by little Indian houses every once in a while. We got caught in the rain too, so we got muddy from the mud flipping off the tires into our hair and up the back of our shirts. I have never felt so adventurous in my life. I loved it!

I love you and miss you. Thank you for all of your support my whole mission and I will see you tomorrow when we Skype. I can´t believe this is my last email! My legendary story is coming to an end. This truly was the coolest thing I have ever done! Also Elder Perez filmed my last testimony at the Multizona. I am going to try to get that from him before I leave. I have learned so much and I have enjoyed the mission a lot, it was hard but worth it. I wouldn´t change it for anything!  Thanks for everything. I love you soooo much! See you soon!

Our Christmas party, getting ready to pack, hopefully some baptisms before I leave...

December 17, 2018

Hey Everyone,

Things are still great here and we should have two baptisms this week!
E.`s mom and E.s sister will be baptized this week
E. Received a calling in the branch yesterday. I am almost ready to come home, just baptisms and packing! I am super excited to be back home, too, just 2 weeks left. I can`t believe I made it! I am so happy that we have lots of parties here that we are going to, to make these last two weeks less agonizing. The time is going by slowly. Haha. That is awesome that you went to Monte`s work to see what the new MACU building is like. It is too bad that you had to buy a new water heater for the house this week.

Yeah, this week, on Thursday is the Christmas party for the elders in our area! I got to see all of those lights that were in that video that you found mom, last year in Formosa.

Yeah, we will see who Elder Smith`s new companion is. He is doing great! Our investigators are good and we will definitely have some baptisms before I leave! I wanted to ask if I have a pair of running shoes back home. If I do I might leave the ones I have here with someone who needs them. Also, my allergies are kicking in this week, and it has also been 106 degrees, I can`t wait for the cold there in Utah!  I am dying, Haha. Don`t worry I am really glad that you are not sending anything for Christmas because that would just be a pain to try and pack it all when I will be home just a week later. I just want to see you all again. I don`t need a package. You will be my present! I am ready for my squeeze! I am so glad for all the support you have given me throughout the mission. I am so thankful for all you do for me.  I am sooo frickin excited to see you all! Ahahghagahaghahihfiuhi. wooooooooo! I can`t wait to see you!

Anyway, I love you all!

Fasting and following promptings brings blessings...

December 9, 2018

So, lots of stories this week, Haha.  So all of our converts and investigators are awesome. We taught a lady this week that thought that Jesus was baptized into the Catholic church. We broke our record for how many lessons that we taught this week and one of our investigators already stopped smoking, just to be baptized! She is awesome! Also, we fasted this week again, and my testimony of fasting has grown a lot, because it always works. We were then guided by the Holy Ghost to go to E.s house and when we got there her sister wanted to talk to us, she said she liked how E. has changed since she was baptized and how happy she is, and so she decided to listen to our message now, she already wants to be baptized!  We also have two little girls that have come to church now and we just have to teach them and they are in the font! We had 4 people come to church this last Sunday. We are so close with so many investigators. This is the last push, I gotta get them baptized before I go! ahhhhahahhaha . E. shared her testimony on Fast Sunday and that made me very happy. She is a really good convert. I hope I can get all of these people baptized before I go. I am sad to leave all this success we are having behind, it has been an amazing week teaching. I am really ending my mission off like I wanted to.

Anyway, yeah, it has been nice to visit with my converts also this week and I have been writing thank-you notes to all of the people in this area who have helped me in any way.

So, this week it is going to be like 106 degrees! Haha, so I am ready for the snow in Utah, Haha! The Leadership Conference went all right. The district has to call me now at night and then I call the zone leaders to report in, so that is a change that they made. Man, I can`t believe I already have a day set up for my homecoming talk! I am more nervous for that than anything else!

No Christmas parties here yet but our missionary Christmas party this year will be held in Formosa. I still need to buy my Secret Santa present for one of the other elders.

That is awesome that you had the ward Christmas party and that Nash did well in his concert.

I am doing well, just finishing it off strong. I am tired, but I will make it.
I am so grateful for this experience of a mission. I can`t believe I did it. It seemed impossible at first, but it isn`t. I Did It!!!!  I am so excited to see all of you. It feels unreal that I am going home soon! Anyway, I love you all so much. You are the best mom and dad ever. Thanks for all you do! Thanks for being such great examples to me! You are the best!
Ill see you soon!

E.'s baptism, lost luggage and "Hooning" around town with Elder Ashby...

December 3, 2018

I am definitely ready to get the stuffing hugged out of me mom, Haha. I can`t wait!!!

So, this Sunday we had just 1 come to church, but it was E.`s mom, so she could be our next baptism! So yeah, we baptized him this week! Woooo! Hopefully his mom will be next, so now he is a member!

So yeah, I am just teaching the people here and if they want to get baptized they can. I am relaxed and having success! We had another investigator say that she got the answer she was looking for this week and she wants to get baptized too! She already came to church once, so we are hoping for two more baptisms before I go home!

So yeah, I did lose my suitcase with my clothes in it at the Leadership Conference, but I got it back, thankfully! I left it in the remis (taxi) along with Elder Pratt. He lost his stuff too, but we were able to get it back, but it made it so we had to stay an extra day in Resistencia. So yeah, when we went out to go look for my suitcase it started to rain like crazy and it flooded the streets and it felt like we were in a boat and not a truck. It was fun goin around Hooning with Elder Ashby in the truck. I ended up wearing his clothes at the leadership conference because mine were in the lost suitcase, Haha. I also got to see Elder Afane at the conference too, so that was fun. I got to stay in my old pension in Resistencia! It was fun!

Elder Pratt and I talked the whole way riding back up to Clorinda. We were in Formosa for our P-day and it was so, so hot there, I was just sweating like crazy! It has been hot here but it has cooled off a little, luckily, so it isn`t so bad today.

I am glad you got my flight plans, I don`t have them yet, but I am sure I will get them soon. I am getting trunky too, mom, but don`t worry, I am still baptizing people ; ).  I gotta try and go out and serve some people before I go home.

I am going to be so lost with so many things that I can choose to do when I get home, I wont know what the first thing to do will be, Haha! Ill probably have to find a job, Haha. I will just take it as it comes.  Anyway, I am so ready for your hug! I just got 4 more weeks here. I love you all sooo much. See you soon!

The dust that somehow gets into our pension, the area we are serving in is really dusty!
